Description Family Ranunculaceae Originating from Far East Richly coloured and exotic, ethereal, delicate, yet robust, vigorous and hardy. There are few flowers that provide such an elegant yet richly coloured display so late in the season, and over a long period. Commonly known as the Wind Flower due to the delicacy of the large slightly rolled petals, they form impressive rose pink, semi double blooms surrounding a showy cluster of golden stamens. Making a fast growing, spreading perennial clump of dark three lobed leaves, the blooms appear in late summer and last into autumn, held on tall stems well above the foliage. Easy to grow in any soil in full sun or part shade. Height and spread after 2 – 5 years 1.m x 1m.
